Default You know your getting old when....

You know your getting old when you walk a 1/4 mile to hunt your new hunt location and start climbing before you realize you left your bow in the truck. LoL By the time I get back to the tree it's daylight. Then grunt in and shoot your target bucks 30 mins later. Just never know. LOL

I drove to Troup early one morning and had forgot my rifle.

Another time, I got halfway to the club and realized I had forgot the guy who was riding down with me, my phone rang, I looked at the name and thought "oops", picked it up and said, you better just drive yourself, I'm almost to Newnan. We still laugh about it

Took my bow but forgot the arrows, forgot my safety orange vest, wore high top white basketball shoes but I saw over 12 deer, and forgot my glasses.

I played a baseball game last night.coaches and dads against 12 and 13 year olds. Hammies are feeling it. I've been running 5 days a week for 3 months, but sprinting 90 feet at a time is an all together different thing for a 43 year olds legs.

We had a co-ed softball team at work this past spring. By the 3rd or 4th game, we were all injured.

But you didn't forget your bat or your balls because 43 isn't old. I hope.

No it's not. I still feel 25 to quote George strait, but anything I do (that's physically demanding) outside of my wheelhouse, and I'm dang sure gonna feel it the next day

Everyone's body is different but I started feeling "it" when I was 42-43. I'm 48 now and cannot do near as much as I could 6-8 years ago. I could probably still do a physical labor job but I wouldn't be worth a chit at the end of the day.
