Is that a .223?

I've "thought" many times about going that route for a dedicated Varmint rig.

The 6.5 Grendel intrigues me too... As well as the 6.8SPC...

D2D, it's a .223 I'll be using for hogs and varmints after I get it sighted in.

What's the Rate of Twist in the barrel?

Reason I ask is "Federal" loads a 60 gr. Partition in .223...

It's a Daniel Defense complete upper receiver with a 1/7 chromed lined barrel. It would be great for stabilizing the heavier bullets.

It also worked great for some 50gr Hornandy V-Max loads I tried out a few weeks ago. I was only shooting 50yrds, but I had three rounds go in one hole and the other two rounds were touching that hole.
