I do want to shoot 1 more doe for the freezer.im hoping I can get Cody to do that for me before season is over. I got to thinking today about guest I have taken bowhunting on the Suburban tract. Every person I have taken out has killed a deer with their bow that I have taken. I'm 4 for 4 over last 5 years. If I could only get Cody to shoot a crossbow

He told me last night he wants to go out to the ponds today and hang out and then take in an evening deer hunt.

Dec 1st am hunt. Saw2 does at 720 am. At 730am I hear a deer coming thru the cane heading to the creek crossing I'm watching. Heart starts racing as I'm thinking it's a buck and I'm finally going to get a shot at a good one. He steps out into the creek and jumps up the bank and gives me a perfect 18 yd shot but he was a 2.5 yr old 8 pt. I just cant seem to see a mature buck in range this season.

No deer. If I had some ducks I'd take him duck hunting. Just want some action for the little fella
