I owuld never hire a guy from UGA/BAMA/AU etc because he appeared to be great at recruiting while there. The names recruit themselves.
I'm going to disagree with you. The "name" doesn't really matter when you have a guy like Trent Thompson, Jacob Eason, Johnathan Ledbetter, etc. The name itself is only a recruiting draw to a life long Dawg fan. Thompson is the best defensive player in the country had offers from everyone. Eason is the #1 QB in the 2016 class, and he's from Washington St. Bobo was very influential in getting Eason's and Thompson's commitment to UGA.

you probably are pretty spot on. And you'll have 2 camps. 1 camp of rednecks that blamed him for every loss in his tenure here. and another camp that has sense.

I don't understand y anyone thinks these coordinators want to be life long OC's or DC's?? surely they aspire to be Headcoaches??

From what I've read his decision didn't have to do with money, but he's still a $1mm OC. As I said before, I could see him using CSU as a stepping to come back to UGA as a HC.

Debatable. Cheney didn't have much to work with. He could only use a very limited playbook. The OL sucked, Eason was a freshman, WRs with brick hands, and I don't think Chubb was 100%.

He'll open it up this year.

I agree with this 100%
I don't think Bobo could've done any better with what we had last year.
