I would agree. Bobo is making twice what Monken did already. Although it would be a HC job it would be a step backwards.

It's doubtful that Bobo is making twice what the HC job at GSU will pay. I think Monken may have gotten a bump as we move up. I also don't believe any former GSU HC would be considered. I really think Brent Pry may be our guy. Maybe we find out on Monday. 😉

Monken made $260,000. Bobo makes $575,000.

All, I let my emotions and a couple of drinks get the better of me this afternoon and I apologize for the classless post, especially to you Red. I'm true blue through and through, and I am no fan of UGA.

We're good. We are all passionate about our football. The next time I'm in Statesboro we can debate the finer points of the TO vs a prostyle offense over beers at Dingus.

I'm normally tight lipped, and I'm no major donor, but there were developments in the final days that most weren't aware of. I'm betting the new HC salary is much higher than what you said Monken was making. I'll leave it at that.

Why? You'd probably have to give more hours. More time away from wife and kids. More production. And more head aches. And I'm sure time away from your hobbies. Sometimes the trade off isn't worth the $. IMO.
