Default Here's Where We're Going (Lion Hunt)

Tom and I are pumped! It's gonna take all two years to save for it, but I think it's a once in a lifetime trip and worth every penny.

Sounds fun... Do they have a high fenced area I see they can guarentee a record cat for more money.

Nope, you couldn't fence in a lion anyway. They have 500 square miles of idaho wilderness to hunt exclusively. It's just almost guaranteed. They have lots of cats and 3 guides running snowmobiles looking for tracks until they find a good one to turn the dogs loose on.

90 percent success rate. 80 percent of those are big mature toms.

not bad for an 8 day hunt.

not my thing but I hope you both kill some big ones!

They do some pretty reasonable diy hunts. They just pack you in with all the gear you could need and pick you up in a week. I'd love to do that, elk and mule deer combo.

Prices don't seem to bad. Do you know the license and tag fees?

about 500 for airfare and license. I'm bringing my recurve for sure. Pistol backup in case they get way up in a tree.

Were going this upcoming february. They had no snow until february so most of their trips this year got cancelled. Really hope for a cold winter next year.
