Default Mercer Baseball

The Bears are having a heck of a season. Cody is considering going there for a year or two and then finishing up at GT. I'd like to see Mercer make it to the World Series this year

Mercer beat The Citadel 2-1 on Sunday in 13 innings to improve to 35-7 overall and 14-1 in the Southern Conference. The Bears have won 12 straight conference games, sweeping their past four conference series.

Mercer has always had a stout baseball program. A few MLB players have came out of there.

Glad to see they are doing good.

Had a lot of friends play baseball at Mercer in the late 80's. Went to high school with Craig Gibson, the head coach.

Yep, Harvard He wants to stay close to home for a few years. Unless MIT accepts him. Then he would have to go

I chose to play at Brewton Parker instead of taking the preferred walk on offer. Bad move on my part
