Probably should have gone this afternoon. Clouded up and the temperature dropped to a brisk 85 degrees.

Sweated off a few pounds. Did not see a deer Saturday. Saw two twin young 8pts at 10:25am Sunday, 100 yards away.

Saw the man Sun AM....hope I can find time to go back after him. Going to be a looong week if I can't. Watching 140+ inches of bone at 170 yards is tough. Especially with a bow in your hand.

Started off bear hunting. Etter killed a 150lb sow. Old, no cubs.. Her teeth were wore to the nub.

Only bear I saw was scouting on Friday....

Anyways, we decided to head to coondawgs to hunt Saturday afternoon. I missed a doe at 20yds.... She was nervous because she smelled all 2 gallons of sweat that oozed from my pores that afternoon... I made a good shot, but she flattened down like a pancake and it went a little over her back... Oh well.. It happens.. shooting a blazing 160fps. LOL I'll get some more shots to redeem myself in the future. Bouncy saw 6 deer, no shots, Etter was skunked..
