Haven't gotten that far yet

As long as it doesn't flood I can normally get on a good shoot for the opener

Do you all still have some open spots? Something has come up and I can only hunt until 530pm opening day. Need to get my limit early if possible

Had around 6 to 700 and two days ago it dropped to about 150. This sucks! Just started mowing the sunflowers and still have 2 weeks left so maybe it will turn around!

I just mowed the first strip in my sunflowers... nothing impressive yet, but enough to justify overheating a few buddies, the dogs, and myself. I don't plan to shoot my field opening weekend.

The lady friend and I are headed up to highlands on Friday. It wont be too much of a detour to stop by and check a few fields on the way up. I have no clue what they are looking like. If history is any indicator though it should be a good shoot. I need to take inventory on my 410 shells.

Won't be able to tell much until the crops are laid down. I'm optimistic that there should be some good shoots in the North Georgia region.

That's not a bad option. If we don't have any birds come back then $3500 has gone kaput!

I'll start cutting mine later this week depending on the weather. No competing fields close by this year so things should be decent.

We have a new cutover about 250 ac and the doves have been piling in over there! The last few days I have seen 40-50 fly up as I drive through.

I'll have some places on my farm harrowed and ready to go as well.
