Question Pendulum sights

How do they work for target practice? I've got one on the new bow. I really like it, its easy to focus on.

Only problem, is that I don't hunt from a stand. Does this mean I'm going to need to go with a pin style sight instead? Does this make the pendulum pretty much a no-go for an OTG hunter?

Stepped back from 20 to 25 yds, and my arrow hit just barely on the bottom of the target...thats when I figured out what the problem was.

So...what do yall say?

Pendulum is no good for OTG....Get you fixed pin site.

For a pendulum to work, it has to swing out. To swing out, you have to be aiming downward. To aim downward, you have to be elevated.

Don't bother w/a pendulum....... Get a fixed pin sight. Lot of nice ones out there to choose from.

Did you hunt from the ground using your pendulum?

I liked my old one just fine since I always hunted elevated. If not for the fact it also had pins, it would have been worthless from the ground.

Got the sights changed out and the 10yd dialed in Gonna get the 20 and 30 done in a lil bit. Still like the pendulum, but till I get the nuts to get up in a tree, it'll just stay in the bowcase

I have a Keller on my bow......never tried anything else

It perfect all the way out to 35 yards from the tree.........and perfect from the ground too......they say if you're shooting it from the ground, lock it down on the #4 position, but I dont, and its still perfect from the ground.
