Default Cherokee bucks

I put out a few cams Thursday and checked a couple of them today. These are stills from videos, so the quality sucks. Several bucks, does and fawns so far.

Good brows on that young 6 and a good pecker on that 8 (Guess I'll nickname him Holmes)

You should be able to follow that young 6pt easily through pics the next couple of years if you don't Timmy Six his ass this fall. LOL

Yes, C&B Scoring (not to be confused with the more common B&C system). The score is based on capacity of water measured in grains. Similar to how we measure case capacity of rifle brass.

One word of caution, experts warn that measuring is best done on a "harvested" animal. Attempting to measure a live, wild buck may result in death, injury and in some cases, pregnancy.

I think you forgot a couple of measurements. You have to add the length and circumference measurements

More likely to get hit by a car than for me to shoot him, he is the smallest on camera so far this year, so there are several other potential victims ahead of him on the list

I can never tell with you. The killer instinct you have is strong.

If it gets late in the year and my season is going bad, I won't think twice about busting his ass.

He is at least safe to start the year as long as he knows not to tempt me with an easy shot
