My Bell Peppers got over 3' tall and produced up until the first frost. If you can get your hands on composted chicken manure, it works great. I clean out the guinea / chicken coops and let it compost. Then when i plant my plants I put a big shovel full in the hole, put the plant on top of that, the fill with dirt. That stuff does an awesome job.

DO NOT USE FRESH CHICKEN CHIT OR YOU WILL KILL YOUR PLANTS!!!
