Entry & Rules Thread

We need a new entry and rules thread for the challenge as a sticky.

Carp 03-24-2011 07:11 AM

bump for mods..

Whoever is running the contest needs to post the rules, and then we can make it a sticky.

Thats right.

The rules were simple.

10 pt for a Tom
5 pts for a Jake
9 birds per team.
Take your pictures with either a paper or cell phone in it showing the date.
7 days after the kill to enter your bird.
If you kill a bird that warrants one of the bonus prizes based on spurs or beard length, be sure to take sufficient pictures of that also.

Other than that I think that's all we had.

Extra points for youth killing a bird. What was the deal on that? I'd say every bird a youth kills should count not just one.

That wouldn't be fair to alot of teams. I'm ok with bonus for a first time kill but bonus for every kids kill...they should be entered into the competition themselves if they will be hunting that much. Just my opinion. And my team would likely beneit greatly from a rule like that. :)

It would encourage people to take kids hunting which would benefit our sport in the long run. It would be a disadvantage to greedy folks.IMO:cheer:
