Bear Kodiak 52" 50# @ 28" and another off the wall (don't know the make) 56" 50# recurve

picked both of them up on Ebay for under $150:cheer:


that would be the way to go for a starter recurve bow, to see if you like it or not....I won't go back to using compound anymore I freaking love shooting my recurve and it is light as a feather but only down fall is hunting with it out of a climber....being so long 56" you tend to hit or bump everything around you

not a big issue at the one place I hunt. Hunt from lock ons ...no rails.

no bows, man...no bows. i kick myself often for loaning out my kodiak magnum, though...ain't seen it since.:banghead: check out martin, they have some nice ones that are reasonable.
